YakRods Tethered All-Purpose Casting Fishing Rod

YakRods Tethered | All-Purpose Casting YAKRODS™ is an industry first with a retention system specifically designed for kayakers - the MAGNETIC TETHERED SYSTEM™(MTS). As kayak anglers ourselves, we’ve felt the heartache of watching our favorite rod slide overboard into the abyss. YAKRODS™ are equipped with a high-performance end cap giving anglers the option to use a magnetic leash. Quality fishing gear is an investment and we want to help you protect it. The team of designers likes to refer to this rod as the "best friend" in the rod line up. The kind of rod that is always ready for anything and super dependable. The rod you keep finding yourself reach for. This all-purpose medium heavy fast casting rod is so versatile and can effectively throw all sorts of baits. We hear folks love to throw small crank baits, jigs, bladed jigs, texas rig, even skipping docks with a senko. Grab your "best friend" and go hit the pond prepared for anything. Our premium composite blanks are made and designed for superior performance. Left unsanded, they offer rugged durability but retain their tournament winning sensitivity. These rods are lightweight, strong, and extremely sensitive. They deliver just the right parabolic bend to keep your tournament-winning monster pegged at the side of your yak. We paired that with the award-winning American Tackle guides, and high-performance components, for a truly powerful package. Beware, our rods are known to improve accuracy and increase casting distance! Our unique end cap doubles as a counter-balance giving you all-day comfort without fatigue.
