Mother Teresa Necklace

St. Teresa of Calcutta, more commonly known as "Mother Teresa," was radically faithful to the Gospel in one of the most destitute places on Earth. She served the poorest of the poor of Calcutta, India with a smile on her face, a rosary in her hand, and the Gospel on her lips. It was revealed after her death how she, to the surprise of most, suffered a prolonged "dark night of the soul" or a feeling of being abandoned by God. Yet, she persevered. Let us always ask St. Teresa to intercede for us, that we may obtain the grace of perseverance and always remember to see the face of Christ in everyone we meet, especially as we celebrate her feast day on September 5th. Details: This necklace features a beautiful 14k gold vermeil medal with a gold-filled chain.   Handcrafted in Southern California. It comes delicately wrapped in a jewelry box. Medal size: 2 cm in diameter What's Gold Vermeil? Vermeil, also known as “silver gilt”, refers to high-quality (pure or sterling) silver that is plated with a thin layer of gold. Most vermeil jewelry available now is created by electroplating the silver with gold, a chemical process that uses an electrical current to bind the two metals together. Gold vermeil will wear off because it is plated. We also have a 925 sterling silver option. If gold plating wearing off is an issue for you, please do not purchase this item. The speed at which a piece fades depends on your body chemistry, climate, as well as the frequency it is worn. Safe & Elegant Craftsmanship: Our jewelry is lead-free, nickel-free, and cadmium-free, crafted to be safe for sensitive skin. Combining eco-conscious quality with stunning style, these pieces offer worry-free wear for every day. It is also available in 925 Sterling Silver. Click here. © 2025 The Little Catholic
