Test all Things Bible Study

Scripture has always warned us to test everything (1 Thessalonians 5:21), so this just means we have finally risen to the charge. How do we test everything? What are we testing? What measuring stick do we use? First, we need to gird ourselves for battle with the belt of truth. (Ephesians 6:14) Girding for battle means that we need to have a complete understanding of the truth so that we have a standard against which we test everything. This is called discernment. We need to recognize the lies of the enemy quickly and respond. Join me as we learn to discern the truth in this confusing culture. 140 pages, 8 chapters divided into 4 lessons each DESCRIPTION This study contains portions of scripture to read, teaching about the topic or scripture, exercises where you will engage with the text in various ways (underline, circle, match answers, rewrite portions, fill in the blank, define a word, etc.), guided prayer, thoughtful questions for application and deeper study.  It is easily divided in such a way that you can do it in one sitting or over several days in smaller portions.
