Structural Bonding. Maximum Anchorage. Engineered Strength. TERRAZZO GraniTech Hydro Stop Grip Epoxy Primer is a high-performance, two-component epoxy anchoring. It is used in combination with 20/40 grade silica sand and fiberglass mesh to create a vapor barrier prior to exterior floor application or interior floors where a vapor barrier is desired. Designed for demanding substrates, this advanced epoxy system delivers exceptional adhesion, deep penetration, and mechanical strength—in combination with silica sand broadcasting and fiberglass mesh it forms a rigid, chemical-resistant matrix that restores integrity to compromised surfaces. Key Benefits Two-Component Structural Epoxy: Delivers superior bonding strength and long-term durability. Low-Viscosity Penetration: Flows deeply into cracks, voids, and capillaries for effective consolidation. Exceptional Substrate Adhesion: Bonds aggressively to concrete, stone, existing tile and other substrates. Water & Chemical Resistant: Withstands oils, moisture, and a wide range of chemicals. Indoor & Outdoor Use: Reliable performance in variable environmental conditions. Mixing Ratio: Component A & B mixed in a 3:1 ratio. The Result: A structurally reinforced substrate with restored strength—ready to support high-performance TERRAZZO GraniTech finishing systems. Perfect for: • High-Stress Areas Prior to Microtopping or Microcement Systems Important Application Notes Structural Primer & Repair Material: Not a decorative or aesthetic layer. Mixing Ratio: Component A & B mixed per manufacturer specifications in a 3:1 ratio. Rigid System: Once cured, forms a hard, non-flexible matrix. Surface Preparation Critical: Substrate must be clean, sound, and free of contaminants. Apply only when ambient and substrate temperatures are between 59°F (15°C) and 82°F (28°C). Do not apply above 82°F (28°C) due to reduced working time and risk of surface defects.
