Terracotta Pomegranate Vase, Blue

In Greek and Persian mythology, the pomegranate is a symbol of abundance, fertility, longevity and good fortune. It also appears as a symbol of hospitality in Middle Eastern cultures, and in Jewish culture is a symbol of wisdom. Whatever it signifies, we think these glazed terra cotta pomegranates are incredibly chic. Made in Italy by hand, one can stand alone as a decorative detail for a side table, be massed with other colors to make a bold statement on a dining table, or they can be used as candle holders and bud vases. They make a cheerful and happy gift for a friend or for yourself! Each vase is 4.75" in diameter x 4.75" tall
