Tern Sidekick Stirrups

Stirrup-Style Foot Support for Big Kid Passengers The Tern Sidekick Stirrups give older kids a secure, natural-feeling place to put their feet when they have outgrown a rear child seat. The flexible “stirrup” cups hug their shoes on three sides, helping keep legs tucked safely against the bike instead of drifting toward the wheel. They mount and remove without tools, fold flat against the frame when not in use, and play nicely with many panniers. For Quick Haul and Short Haul setups without big cargo bags installed, they are a simple, high-impact upgrade for comfort and safety. Small Things – Big Difference Stirrup-style foot supports for big kid passengers on Tern Quick Haul, Short Haul, and HSD setups. Flexible material wraps the sides of the foot, with three-point support to help keep legs inboard. Suitable for passengers over 110 cm (about 3'7") tall and between 18–45 kg (40–99 lb). A must-have when carrying a big kid on Quick Haul or Short Haul if Cargo Hold 37 panniers or Storm Box Mini are not in use. Reflective accents add a bit of low-light visibility at the rear and sides. Tool-free installation and removal make it easy to switch between cargo and passenger duty. Flat-fold design tucks tight to the frame for a slimmer profile when not carrying passengers. Compatible with several panniers, including Tern Bucketload and Ortlieb Back-Roller, for flexible setups. Part of Tern’s Passenger System; intended to be used together with appropriate wheel guards, handholds, and seating.
