Tern Sidekick Handle

Compact Grab Handle for Confident Passengers This rack-mounted handle gives your rear passenger a secure place to hold on, so they feel steadier when you roll over potholes, speed bumps, or tight corners. Mounted on the rear rack instead of the seatpost, it works even when the saddle is slammed low, making it a good match for shorter riders. Quick-attach straps make it easy to add or remove as needed, and the narrow shape stays out of the way when you are walking the bike or loading cargo. Wrapped in bar tape, the grip feels familiar and comfortable in small and big hands alike. Design That Works Gives rear passengers a dedicated grab handle so they feel more secure on city streets and everyday rides. Attaches to the rear rack with self-fastening straps for fast, tool-free installation and removal. Rack-mounted design means no minimum saddle height, ideal for riders who keep the seatpost very low. Can double as a carry handle to help lift the bike over curbs, doorsteps, or into storage. Compact width makes it easier to steer and walk the bike beside you without knocking your legs. Supplied with bar tape for a cushioned, grippy surface in all weather. Part of Tern’s Passenger System and a useful upgrade alongside pads, wheel guards, and footrests. Not intended for use with suspension seatposts.
