Tern Link D8 Folding Commuter Bicycle

Everyday Folding Bike Built for Urban Life The Tern Link D8 is your everyday travel companion, whether your trip is exclusively on two wheels or in combination with buses, trains, or automobiles. Designed as the "Jack of All Trades" in Tern's lineup, this folding bike delivers a surprisingly full-size bike ride quality thanks to its 20-inch wheels and robust aluminum frame, while folding in under 10 seconds to fit under a desk, in a closet, or on public transportation. The patented Andros adjustable stem lets you switch your riding position on the fly—no tools needed—so you can go long and low in a headwind or upright and comfortable for cruising around town. Built with Tern's proven N-Fold technology, the Link D8 combines simplicity with serious engineering. The heavy-duty OCL+ frame joint exceeds ISO 4210 and EN 15194 testing requirements, featuring a single-shaft design, advanced welding, and robust gussets that stay stiff and strong during even the fastest commutes. The Physis 3D forged handlepost is formed from a single piece of aluminum with no welds, creating the strongest, stiffest folding handlepost available. Schwalbe Big Apple tires with Kevlar puncture protection roll fast and smooth over rough pavement, while the included rear rack and full fenders add practical functionality for year-round commuting. The Magnetix 2.0 magnetic folding lock keeps the bike securely folded with 10-15 kgf of pull force, making it easy to carry up stairs or through crowded spaces without the bike unfolding unexpectedly. Smart Design for Daily Riding Folds in under 10 seconds using intuitive N-Fold technology that rotates the front wheel 180 degrees. Compact folded dimensions of 38 × 79 × 72 cm (15 × 31.1 × 28.3 inches) fit easily under desks, in closets, or on public transit. Lightweight at just 12.1 kg (26.7 lbs) for easy carrying and portability.
