Temporary Straight PEEK Abutment

DSI PEEK temporary abutments have high mechanical strength, a natural tooth-color appearance, and great biocompatibility. They provide an excellent temporary aesthetic solution during the final restoration fabrication period. The PEEK abutments can be easily customized according to the desired specifications. These abutments are very durable - almost like their titanium counterparts, but with a smoother surface, that allows easy polishing and shaping of the abutments. Plus, the non-metal structure indulges clear and precise 3D scans without any distortions. PEEK abutments are designed for immediate temporary restorations. Provided with a special anatomical collar they are better adapted for gums and do not damage the surrounding soft tissues while allowing a decent healing process. Due to the high melting point of 343 °C of PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) material, the abutments can be safely sterilized in an autoclave. Indications: Single/multiple tooth long-term Fabrication of short-term and mid-term provisional restorations Designed for immediate installation into the implant Anatomic collar creates gingiva emergence profile for easier permanent solution replacement Clear and precise 3D scans with no distortions. Features: 3D Scan goes smooth and steady without distortion. Excellent properties such as stiffness and durability are similar to titanium. Have high mechanical strength and yet can easily be shaped and polished. Can be sterilized without degradation in mechanical properties or biocompatibility. Suitable for X-ray, MRI, and CT imaging without producing artifacts. Proven tissue biocompatibility. Natural color for excellent aesthetics.
