We will ship the ring to your house (or a friend’s if you’re trying to be sneaky!) Propose Pop the question with the Loaner Ring and tell your fiancé that she has a custom engagement ring coming her way. In the meantime, she can wear the temporary ring. Design You can start designing her custom ring before proposing, loop her in to design her own ring, or you can work on it together as a couple. Delivery Your custom engagement ring is ready 8-10 weeks after your first design meeting. Our Process SHOULD YOU PROPOSE WITH A TEMPORARY ENGAGEMENT RING?​ The Loaner ring was originally created for our clients who wanted to propose, but wanted their partners input on their own custom engagement ring. The Loaner Rings lets you pull off the surprise proposal, but allows your partner to collaborate on the ring. We’ve also seen it used when clients want to propose before the ring is finished, or because they don’t want to worry about losing the real engagement ring while traveling for a proposal. We will then ship the package to your address. Do I need to live in the United States?​ No. We ship The Loaner Ring to you and work with you remotely to create your custom engagement ring. If I purchase The Loaner Ring, do I need to make a custom ring with you? The $500 The Loaner Ring package is non-refundable and goes towards the cost of your final custom engagement ring, however you don’t need to make a ring with us to buy the Loaner Ring. How do I propose with The Loaner Ring? Will she think it’s weird?​ Everyone deserves the magic of a proposal, and this is no different. After asking her to marry you you can tell her that this is a placeholder until  A-she gets a one of a kind ring you designed just for her, or B – surprise!
