TEMP-1 Temperature Sensor For Home Assistant

For the most accurate temperature readings, it is designed to be used with one of the optional probes. The onboard AHT20-F sensor may be affected by heat from the ESP, but using sleep settings helps ensure accurate temperature and humidity measurements.   The TEMP-1 Temperature Sensor is designed for seamless integration with ESPHome and Home Assistant via WiFi. It is available in two versions: • A USB-C powered model for continuous operation. • A battery-powered model for flexible placement, using a rechargeable RC-CR123A or 16340 battery (not included). This version enables cable-free operation, making it ideal for locations without constant power. The TEMP-1 delivers accurate and reliable temperature readings with multiple probe options. Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity ensure easy smart home integration and automation. An onboard RGB LED and buzzer provide real-time alerts, while the AHT20-F sensor measures ambient air temperature alongside probe readings. A 3.5mm jack supports two optional temperature probes or a food safe probe (sold separately), allowing customization for specific monitoring needs. Its compact and durable design ensures seamless integration into any environment while maintaining high performance. 2 probes are flat cable submersible probes and 1 probe is a food safe stainless steel non dishwasher safe. USE CASES Food Safety Monitoring Fridge/Freezer Monitoring: Ensure your fridge or freezer maintains safe temperatures for food storage. The flat cable probe can fit through seals without interfering with the door closure. Cooking and Baking: Use the food-safe stainless steel probe to monitor grilling, roasting, or baking temperatures in real-time. Aquatic Environments Fish Tank Monitoring: Keep a close eye on aquarium water temperatures with the waterproof probe to maintain a stable and healthy environment for aquatic life. Pool and Hot Tub Monitoring: Track water temperatures in pools or hot tubs (with waterproof housing) for safety and comfort. Home and Building Automation Attic Fan Control: Automate attic fans to turn on when temperatures rise above a set threshold, improving ventilation and energy efficiency. HVAC System Monitoring: Monitor ambient temperature to optimize your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system's performance. Outdoor and Remote Applications Greenhouse Temperature Management: Maintain the perfect growing environment for plants in a greenhouse, even in remote areas, using the battery-powered version. Remote Monitoring: Monitor temperature in locations without constant power, such as sheds, barns, or outdoor storage units. General Environmental Monitoring Room Temperature Tracking: Use the onboard AHT sensor to monitor indoor environments for comfort and energy efficiency. Cold Storage Units: Monitor temperature in commercial or residential cold storage units to ensure proper operation. Safety Alerts Overheat Detection: Use the buzzer or Home Assistant integration to trigger alerts when temperatures exceed safe levels in critical areas like server rooms or electronics enclosures.
