Telomere™ Pro - 30 Capsules

Enzyme Science Telomere™ Pro Activates the enzyme Telomerase to promote the health of your DNA.* Benefits: Telomerase Activation* For Healthy Aging* Subject of a study published in Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine Telomeres are the protective caps at the end of our DNA. Age and lifestyle choices cause telomeres to shorten over time. While the direct correlation between telomere length and overall wellness is still being studied, researchers believe that telomeres play a crucial role in supporting ones’ health. The Telomerin™ blend contained within Telomere Pro™ is the subject of a published study on the activation of Telomerase, the enzyme responsible for rebuilding telomeres. The synergy of astragalus root, broccoli seed extract, rhodiola extract and Vitamin D3, promotes telomerase activity to maintain telomere length to encourage cellular rejuvenation and healthy aging.* Ingredients  Serving Size: 1 Capsule Amount/Serving  Vitamin D3 (as Cholecalciferol) 500 IU Telomerin™ Blend: 495 mg      Astralagus (root)       SGS™ Broccoli seed extract      Rhodiola extract (Rhodiola rosea P.E.)(root) Other Ingredients: 100% Vegetarian capsule (cellulose, water), rice bran Contains NO egg, dairy, preservatives, salt, soy, wheat, nuts, corn, gluten, casein, potato artificial colors or flavors. To understand cellular aging, we must first understand the anatomy of a cell.  Our bodies are composed of different types of cells, each with a different function. Every type of cell contains  a center called nucleus, which contains genetic information called DNA. DNA contains instructions that allow our cells to divide and correctly produce more cells. DNA is found in structured within the nucleus called chromosomes. At the ends of each chromosome are protective tips called telomeres, which keep the ends of the chromosome from degradation.  Telomere length has a lot to do with aging and is what some scientists have used to assess biological age. Young cells have long telomeres and older cells have short telomeres. Every time a cell divides, the telomeres get shorter and shorter. Eventually, they become too short to sustain cell division, and the cell dies. This is cellular aging. Other factors besides aging that may lead to accelerated telomere shortening included stress, lifestyle choices, and environmental toxins.  Maintaining telomere length is essential to overall health, and can be accomplishes by supplementing with telomerase activator. Telomerase is naturally occurring enzyme that influences a cell's ability to lengthen telomeres and prevent them from shortening. Most cells do not have sufficient levels of this enzyme to maintain telomere length.  The synergistic ingredients in Telomere Pro have been shown to active telomerase and may support increased energy.  The botanicals in Telomere Pro have been specifically formulated to positively influence telomerase. Astragalus root has been shown to boost energy and provide immune support, while research indicated that broccoli seed extract enhances the body's tolerance to stress. Rhodiola extract is often used for cellular protection and to boost enzyme activity.  Vitamin D3 is known to boost the immune system and has been shown to have a positive correlation with telomere length.    Stem XCell® Telomere Pro™ What is it for?
