Telescoping Boat Cover Support Pole

Telescopes and locks with a twist from 28" to 48" Helps prevent water pooling on your cover Foot is rubberized to prevent any marks on your deck Integrated large diameter load distribution cap to support cover evenly Description This boat cover support pole will help to prevent water and other debris from collecting in your boat cover and getting into your boat. Water pooling is the one of the main causes of boat cover damage. Keeping your cover clean and free of water also makes it easier to remove the cover when needed. Water collecting on covers has also been known to sink boats when the trapped water's weight forces open thru-hulls below the waterline. Installation is simple: secure the large diameter cap to the top of the pole and set the pole up under your cover in the center-most area of the boat cover. Twist open the adjustment collar and extend the pole until the boat cover has a peak and there is firm resistance from the cover. Twist closed the adjustment collar. Ensure the pole is perpendicular to your deck and that your cover slopes smoothly in all directions. Your cover may settle or stretch over the course of the day after install, so be sure to check on the pole and readjust as necessary after 24 hours.
