With the iPhone 17 Pro's upgraded camera, we designed the Telephoto 2x lens to take advantage of the main sensor's larger pixels, delivering sharper images, smoother shadows and cleaner video even in low light.  While both Apple’s 1x and 4x cameras are 48MP, the main 1x sensor features quad-pixels that are ~74% larger, pulling in ~2.5x more light, resulting in better dynamic range and less noise. By mounting the SANDMARC Telephoto 58mm lens to the main camera, you’re combining 2x optical magnification with the best sensor on the iPhone.
