Tech Explorers: Intro to Electronics & IoT

In this unit, students develop foundational knowledge of electricity, circuitry, and programming through hands-on engineering projects using Arduino technology. They learn to build and test circuits, interpret schematics and multimeter readings, and apply Ohm’s law to understand voltage, current, and resistance. Through the Arduino IDE and Arduino Cloud, students practice writing and debugging code using functions, loops, variables, and conditional statements to control sensors, LEDs, motors, and other components. By designing and programming interactive systems such as traffic lights, robots, and smart monitoring devices, students apply engineering design principles to solve real-world challenges and collaborate effectively in STEM contexts.
