Petpost Tear Stain Remover Solution for Dogs - 8 oz Bottle - Gentle Coconut Oil Eye Cleanser for White Fur Breeds - Chemical & Bleach Free

You love your Maltese. Or your Shih Tzu, your Bichon Frise, your Poodle. But every time you look at those rust-colored streaks running from her eyes, you wish there was something — anything — you could do. You've tried wiping with water. You've tried whitening shampoo. Maybe you've even tried the products with bleach in them and hated yourself for it. Tear stains are stubborn, and most products on the market are either too harsh for your dog's face or too gentle to actually work. Petpost Tear Stain Remover Solution sits in the middle: gentle naturally derived ingredients that are safe for daily use right next to the eye, combined with a formula that actually lifts the rust-colored discoloration over time. Why dog owners love it Removes tear stains & eye crust: The naturally derived coconut and juniper extract formula lifts the rust-colored porphyrin marks and the mucus crust that builds up around the eyes of tear-stain-prone breeds. Gentle enough for daily use: Chemical-free, bleach-free, antibiotic-free. Made with naturally derived ingredients safe for the delicate skin right next to your dog's eye. Made specifically for white-coat breeds: Designed for Maltese, Shih Tzu, Bichon Frise, Poodles, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and any breed with light fur prone to tear staining. Easy-apply dropper nozzle: Squeeze a few drops onto a cotton pad and you're ready to go. No measuring, no risk of getting liquid in your dog's eye. Visible results in 3 to 6 weeks: Stains don't disappear overnight, but with daily use, most dogs show clear improvement within a month and a half. Consistency is everything. Made in the USA, eco-conscious: Crafted in small US batches with naturally derived ingredients and recyclable packaging. What makes Petpost different Most tear stain removers fall into one of three problematic categories: bleach-based products that damage the fur and irritate the skin, antibiotic-based supplements that you can't use long-term, or "natural" products so watered-down they do nothing. vs. bleach-based removers: No fur damage, no skin irritation, safe for daily long-term use. vs. tylosin antibiotic products: No antibiotic resistance concerns, no prescription needed, safe forever. vs. "natural" products that don't work: Real visible results within 3 to 6 weeks of consistent daily use. How to use Squeeze a small amount of solution onto a clean cotton pad or cosmetic round. Gently rub the stained area for 60 to 120 seconds, working from the inner corner of the eye outward. Take care to avoid direct contact with the eyeball itself. Use daily until the buildup is completely removed (typically 3 to 6 weeks for severe cases), then maintain with 2 to 3 applications per week. For best results, pair with our Tear Stain Wipes for daily quick cleaning and our Tear Stain Soft Chews for internal support. A note on what to expect Tear stains have two layers: the active crust and discharge that builds up daily, and the permanently dyed fur underneath. Our solution removes the active layer and prevents new stains, but the dyed fur needs to grow out before the staining is fully gone. That takes 2 to 4 months of consistent daily care. Patience is the hardest part. Ingredients Water, disodium coco-glucoside citrate, juniperus communis fruit oil, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, glycerin, coconut oil, benzalkonium chloride. Naturally derived. No bleach, no peroxide, no antibiotics, no harsh chemicals. Frequently asked questions How long until I see results? Most dogs show visible improvement within 3 to 6 weeks of daily use. Full results — including new clean fur growth — can take 2 to 4 months. Tear stains are a marathon, not a sprint. Why does my dog get tear stains in the first place? Tear stains are caused by porphyrins, natural pigments in your dog's tears that oxidize when exposed to air. Causes include shallow eye sockets (common in flat-faced breeds), excessive tearing, blocked tear ducts, and diet. Some dogs are just genetically prone to them. Is it safe to use near the eye? Yes — that's exactly what it was designed for. Just avoid direct contact with the eyeball itself. The formula is gentle enough that brief accidental contact won't cause damage, but it's best to be careful. Can I use it on cats? Yes, the formula is safe for cats with tear staining too, though the most common application is dogs. Should I use this with the wipes and the chews? Many of our customers use all three. The solution does deep cleaning, the wipes handle daily maintenance, and the chews work internally to reduce the porphyrin production that causes stains. Using all three is the fastest path to results. Our 100% Happy Dog Guarantee If you don't see visible improvement after 6 weeks of consistent daily use, contact us and we'll refund your purchase.
