Taylor Next Generation 814ce - Natural

Taylor Next Generation 814ce - Natural Welcome to the future of Taylor's ultimate flagship acoustic! The Next Generation 814ce builds upon decades of legendary pedigree to deliver a player-centric acoustic powerhouse that handles anything you throw at it. Built with a solid East Indian Rosewood body paired with a beautiful Sitka Spruce top, this guitar pumps out an incredibly versatile, three-dimensional voice. Strumming a big open chord unleashes full, deep basses with fuzzy-edged dark lines that give it that classic, thick lower-mid muscle, while individual notes stay unbelievably clear with plenty of top-end sparkle and a slightly scooped midrange that carves out the perfect pocket for vocals. What really sets this next-generation beast apart is Taylor's freshly engineered Scalloped V-Class bracing. This cutting-edge internal architecture thins out the braces at strategic spots to unlock a softer, warmer bass thump reminiscent of vintage X-braced acoustics, while perfectly preserving the spot-on intonation and infinite sustain that modern players love. Combined with the groundbreaking Action Control Neck joint—which lets you dial in your string height or execute micro-adjustments with a simple turn of a bolt—this Grand Auditorium body feels like a true extension of your hands. Over the years, the 814ce platform has been a staple for everyone from Dave Matthews to Taylor Swift, and this generation raises the bar even higher. When it's time to take the stage, the upgraded Claria Acoustic Pickup System completely changes the game. Moving past the ultra-sensitive nature of the old ES2, the Claria system uses a rock-solid, under-saddle design paired with an intelligent preamp that's completely free of piezo distortion. Armed with a Mid-Contour control right at the soundhole, you can effortlessly sweep from scooped rhythm warmth to a midrange-forward bark that pushes fingerstyle and lead work right to the front of the mix. It is plug-and-play simplicity at its finest, wrapped up in a package that looks as jaw-dropping as it sounds. Why Buy A Guitar From Palen Music Center?
