Taylor Next Generation 412ce

The Taylor Next Generation 412ce augments the time-honored 400-series Grand Concert with stage-ready Claria electronics, Scalloped V-Class bracing, and the Action Control neck joint. This acoustic-electric guitar begins with a Sitka spruce top and an overtone-dense rosewood Grand Concert body, providing a dynamic and lively response that excels with fingerstyle playing and more intimate strumming. However, Taylor’s Scalloped V-Class bracing imparts this Grand Concert with a healthy dose of X-brace-inspired charm in the form of a deeper low-end thump and a full-range resonance — all while retaining the V-Class bracing’s signature balance and projection. As for acoustic-electric tones, Taylor’s Claria under-saddle pickup system provides plug-and-play performance with handy soundhole-mounted Volume, Tone, and Mid-Contour controls. Finally, the 412ce’s ebony-capped mahogany Standard Carve neck comes equipped with Taylor’s trailblazing Action Control neck system, which allows users to optimize the neck angle (and thus the action). For decades, the 400 series has stood as the go-to lineup for performing guitarists around the globe. The Next Generation 412ce builds upon that legacy, respecting Taylor’s roots while injecting a forward-thinking dose of innovation.   Back & Sides Wood: Indian Rosewood Top Wood: Sitka Spruce Top Finish: Gloss Color: Natural Body Bracing: Scalloped V-Class Neck Wood: Neo-Tropical Mahogany Neck Finish: Satin Neck Shape: Standard Carve Radius: 15" Fingerboard Material: Crelicam Ebony Fingerboard Inlay: Weathervane Number of Frets: 20 Scale Length: 24.87" Scale Length Type: Standard-scale Nut Width: 1.75" Nut Material: Black Tusq Saddle Material: White Micarta Bridge Material: Crelicam Ebony Tuning Machines: Taylor Electronics: Taylor Claria Case: Hardshell
