Taylor Builder's Edition 524ce Next Generation Overview The Taylor Builder’s Edition 524ce Next Generation combines mahogany’s warm, focused tonal character with Taylor’s modern Builder’s Edition design approach. Built with a solid mahogany top paired with mahogany back and sides, this Grand Auditorium produces a woody, articulate voice with controlled low end, clear mids, and a dry, balanced response that records exceptionally well. Builder’s Edition models are designed with both tone and player comfort in mind. Subtle ergonomic refinements and Taylor’s precise construction create a smooth playing experience, while the Grand Auditorium body shape provides versatility across fingerstyle and strumming styles. Paired with Taylor’s Expression System 2 electronics, the 524ce translates naturally in amplified settings.
