Taylor 314ce Studio - Natural

Taylor 314ce Studio - Natural If you’re looking to step up your acoustic game with an all-solid wood instrument that won’t break the bank, the Taylor 314ce Studio is ready to be your workhorse. This Grand Auditorium body masterfully pairs a solid Sapele back and sides with a special torrefied Sitka Spruce top. Sapele, a dense and responsive tonewood, is often compared to Mahogany, delivering a warm, clear, and punchy midrange that gives your playing a strong, woody foundation. It’s a versatile material that sounds great whether you are strumming rhythm or picking complex fingerstyle passages. The brilliance of this guitar, however, lies in its torrefied Sitka Spruce top. Sitka Spruce is already known for its broad dynamic range, accommodating everything from soft fingerpicking to heavy strumming. By torrefying the wood—a special roasting process—Taylor essentially fast-forwards the aging process, imparting the soundboard with the tonal depth, warmth, and resonance of a guitar that has been played and loved for decades. Combined with Taylor’s revolutionary V-Class bracing, this pairing dramatically increases volume, sustain, and improves the harmony between notes all the way up the neck. The classic Grand Auditorium body shape is Taylor's signature all-purpose acoustic design, offering comfort and versatility. Whether you're recording in the studio or performing live, the onboard Expression System 2 (ES2) electronics faithfully capture the guitar's natural dynamic voice with exceptional clarity, ensuring your sophisticated acoustic tone translates perfectly through any sound system.
