Task Wall Light - Putty Grey

The Original BTC Task Wall Light represents the epitome of British functional design through its purposeful spun aluminum construction that focuses high-level illumination exactly where needed with exceptional flexibility and precision. This classic wall-mounted fixture features both moveable shade and adjustable arm that can be angled and swiveled to create either concentrated pools of light for detailed work or broader illumination for larger areas, making it ideal for workspace applications and reading areas. Available in an array of sophisticated colors including black, white, putty grey, polished aluminum, and additional finishes to perfectly complement any interior aesthetic. Whether installed beside beds where the precise directional control provides optimal reading light, mounted in home offices where focused task lighting enhances productivity, positioned in workshops where concentrated illumination supports detailed projects, or used in commercial spaces where flexible lighting solutions adapt to changing needs, the Task Wall Light delivers both exceptional functionality and refined British craftsmanship. This wall light showcases authentic British metalworking using centuries-old spinning techniques inherited from London's East India Docks heritage. Each spun aluminum shade begins as a sheet metal disc formed through high-speed spinning and hand-applied pressure, creating the smooth dome profile that provides optimal light control and distribution. The adjustable arm mechanism ensures smooth movement and lasting durability, while the removable shade feature adds convenient maintenance access. The black cotton braided cable adds authentic manufacturing character and practical convenience. E26 compatibility supports up to 60 watts with both LED and incandescent options, and UL listing ensures safe North American installation. Original BTC, established in 1990 by Peter Bowles, designs with quality, detail, and respect for functional excellence while celebrating the transformation of utilitarian industrial forms into sophisticated lighting solutions. The Task Wall Light reflects the brand's passion for creating lighting that serves real-world needs without compromising on aesthetic quality or craftsmanship heritage. Through traditional metalworking techniques and careful attention to adjustability and precision engineering, Original BTC helps create workspaces and living areas that celebrate both heritage craftsmanship and practical design intelligence while delivering lighting that enhances productivity and daily tasks with sophisticated British elegance.
