Task Table Lamp - Olive Green

The Original BTC Task Table Lamp represents classic British design philosophy through its purposeful aluminum construction that combines adjustable functionality with timeless industrial aesthetics. This stable and solid design features both adjustable shade and arm positioning that allows you to direct focused illumination exactly where needed, whether creating a concentrated pool of light for detailed work or illuminating larger areas for ambient lighting. Available in four sophisticated finishes - polished aluminum, black, putty grey, and cream - each with chromed steel support arms and cotton braided cord with convenient in-line switch. Whether positioned on desks where the adjustable shade provides optimal task lighting for productivity, placed beside reading chairs where the directional illumination enhances evening relaxation, or used in workshops where the focused beam supports detailed projects, the Task Table Lamp delivers both practical functionality and refined British craftsmanship. This table lamp showcases authentic British metalworking using centuries-old spinning techniques inherited from London's East India Docks heritage. Each spun aluminum shade begins as a sheet metal disc formed through high-speed spinning and hand-applied pressure, creating the smooth dome profile that focuses illumination with precision. The chromed steel support arm ensures smooth adjustment and lasting durability, while the cotton braided cord with in-line switch provides convenient operation and authentic British manufacturing character. E26 compatibility supports up to 60 watts with both LED and incandescent options, and UL listing ensures safe North American installation. Original BTC, established in 1990 by Peter Bowles, designs with quality, detail, and respect for British industrial heritage while creating lighting that serves real-world needs with timeless appeal. The Task Table Lamp reflects the brand's passion for functional design that doesn't compromise on aesthetic quality, offering lighting solutions that enhance productivity through thoughtful engineering. Through traditional metalworking techniques and careful attention to adjustability and proportion, Original BTC helps create workspaces and living areas that celebrate both heritage craftsmanship and practical design intelligence while delivering lighting that adapts perfectly to daily tasks and changing needs.
