Tapestry Beaded Dog Collar - Intricate Handmade Maasai Ethical Design from East Africa

Take your pet’s style to the next level with our incredible Rafiki Dog Collar. "Rafiki," meaning "friend" in Swahili, reflects the bond between you and your pet. Featuring vibrant red Maasai beadwork, this collar is handcrafted by Tanzanian women artisans using traditional techniques. Durable and eye-catching, this ethical pet accessory is perfect for pets of all sizes. Our collars are as tough as they are beautiful. Handmade in Tanzania, each piece has slight variations, adding to its unique style and character. Every purchase directly supports women artisans with fair wages and empowers them through sustainable employment. Beyond the compensation and benefits for the artisans, 100% of additional net proceeds are invested in our innovative menstrual hygiene program, UhuruPads—East Africa's first 100% compostable sanitary pad, keeping girls in school and changing lives. Features: The size in inches given (for ex., 10"+) is the length from the tip of the leather at the buckle to approximately the second hole after the beading ends. In this example one could make the collar slightly tighter than 10" or slightly looser than 10". Beautiful beading that wears like iron. Soft, durable leather in dark chocolate. Rugged brass hardware.
