Taper Shelf: Case

Where industrial strength meets domestic intimacy, the Form & Refine Taper Shelf transforms storage into display. Each line has been considered, each angle deliberate, creating a vessel for both the precious and the practical. The brushed stainless steel surface catches light with subtle variation, its shallow depth creating a stage for objects. The gently rounded front edge transforms cold metal into something tactile—an invitation that speaks to our instinctive desire to touch beautiful things. Jonas Herman of Herman Studio approached this piece as an architectural study in restraint. "The bent corners were conceived as both frame and foundation," he explains, "softening the visual severity of steel while maintaining structural integrity." His design philosophy centers on strength through subtlety—how enduring pieces often whisper rather than shout. 15.7"L x 25.7"H x 3.5"D 100% Brushed Stainless Steel  8.5 lbs Available in two purposeful sizes, see our full Form & Refine collection here.   Form & Refine champions the Danish design ethos where materials, form, and sustainability converge. Each element is selected not for novelty, but for its contribution to a lifetime of mindful living.
