Haluan Tanzania Mbeya Medium-Light Coffee

Tanzania   Origin: The Mbeya Region of Tanzania, known for its rich volcanic soils and high altitudes, perfect for cultivating flavorful coffee beans. Certification/Grading: AB - This grade indicates coffee beans that are of a high quality, with beans sized between 15/16 to 18/64 of an inch, ensuring a uniform roast and brew. Roast: Medium-Light - This roast level highlights the unique flavors of the bean, providing a balance that brings out the natural sweetness and acidity without overpowering the delicate notes. Tasting Profile: Pear: A fresh, slightly sweet pear note that adds a unique twist to your coffee experience. Floral: Subtle floral undertones that evoke the aroma of a Tanzanian garden. Jasmine: A delicate jasmine fragrance, enhancing the coffee’s bouquet. Strawberry: Hints of strawberry give this coffee a delightful, fruity finish. Grower: Produced by small cooperative farmers in the Mbeya area. These farmers work together to ensure sustainable practices that benefit both their community and the quality of the coffee. Altitude: Grown at altitudes ranging from 1200 to 1900 meters. At these heights, the coffee develops more complex flavors due to the slower maturation process. Soil Type: The coffee thrives in the clay mineral-rich soils of Mbeya, which contribute to the bean's distinctive taste profile. Process: The beans undergo a fully washed process, which involves removing the cherries' mucilage before drying on raised beds. This method helps in achieving a clean, bright taste. Social Impact: With every purchase, 50% of the profits are donated to support battered women’s shelters. By choosing this coffee, you’re not only indulging in an exceptional taste but also helping to empower and protect women in need.
