Tanteo Blanco Tequila

Tanteo Blanco is a bold, high-proof tequila that shines with vibrant agave character and tropical flair. Its balance of floral sweetness, peppery spice, and refreshing minerality earned it one of the top honors in the world of spirits—a Gold Outstanding (98 points) and the Tequila Trophy at the 2025 IWSC. Origins & Craftsmanship Tanteo is crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave, roasted in traditional brick ovens and distilled in small batches. The Blanco expression is bottled at an assertive 42.5% ABV, allowing the natural complexity of the agave to take center stage. Produced in Jalisco and bottled by hand, it captures the brand’s dedication to authenticity and vibrancy. Tanteo’s lineup is known for infused expressions (jalapeño, chipotle, habanero), but the Blanco stands out as a pure showcase of terroir and agave. Recent Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) Recognition In 2025, Tanteo Blanco won the Tequila Trophy at IWSC. It received a Gold Outstanding score (98 points) at IWSC in 2025 under the Tequila and Agave Spirits category. Judges praised its “vibrant aroma profile featuring agave, white pepper, leather, and fresh grass.” They also noted floral nuances and a warm citrus-herb finish.  Tasting Profile Nose – Fresh agave with floral lift, tropical fruit (banana, guava, pineapple), and white pepper.
