Terra-cotta

Terra-cotta, Yoga-inspired, semi-abstract olive green figure stretching with sage and terra-cotta background. I love it when a stretch, yoga, or dance session shifts from physical, manual actions into a colorful, poetic flow of endorphin-fueled energy. I hope these figures capture that state. An original oil painting, 9x12 inches, natural (and non-toxic) pigment, matte mediums on thick, archival watercolor paper. This piece is absolutely gorgeous in its simple arrangement of almost abstract shapes, presenting a radiating, inspiring image of the human form.
