Tandem Espresso

**All local pick up orders will remain available for 30 days.  After 30 days they will be donated to a local charity due to storage space.** Our Tandem Espresso is our flagship espresso.  When we set out to create it, we spent a lot of time thinking about what it would look like to take the concept of riding a tandem bike and apply it to a coffee blend - no joke!   Since a tandem is ridden by two people, we committed ourselves to create a blend with two beans.  As balance is extremely important when two people jump on a bike together, we looked for two coffees with flavor profiles and structures that would work well together.  Finally, we knew we wanted to create an espresso blend that was very approachable as a single shot and yet would hold up well in a cappuccino.   The present iteration of Tandem Espresso is a blend of a coffee from our friend Luis Joaquin Lovo in Nicaragua, alongside an excellent farm in La Paz, Honduras.  This blend is balanced and has an excellent sweetness for espresso! In the Cup A rich coffee with notes of Caramel, Vanilla, Dark Chocolate, Cherries.  To find out more about what Grind Method to choose, check out our blog post on grind methods!
