Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di III VXD 1:1 Macro Lens Sony E

Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di III VXD 1:1 Macro Sony E Tamron’s latest 90mm F2.8 MACRO for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras delivers exceptional sharpness from the center to the edges and produces a smooth bokeh effect. TAMRON is presenting its first 12-blade circular aperture, ensuring perfectly round bokeh and minimal vignetting, particularly in the macro range. The 12-blade design forms 12 rays for stunning starburst effects when stopped down, making it perfect for striking images with point light sources. This compact mid-telephoto macro lens is only 126.5mm (5") long and weighs 630g (22.2oz.), with a maximum diameter of Ø79.2mm. It sits comfortably in the hand, making it easy to hold for extended periods. The lens is furnished with a focus limiter switch that can limit the AF focus range, allowing for quicker focusing during AF shooting. This feature also helps prevent the lens from hunting for focus throughout the entire range when losing focus during close-range AF photography. The rotational torque of the focus ring has been accurately adjusted to aid in precise Manual Focus operation. This moderate torque allows for more precise fine-tuning of the focus, ensuring accurate results. The new hood design has a sliding window for easy filter use, enabling photographers to rotate filters without removing the hood. The 90mm F2.8 MACRO is compatible with the dedicated TAMRON Lens Utility software, allowing users to modify lens settings, assign camera functions, and update firmware as needed. The mobile version is particularly useful for macro photography where a tripod is often used. Users can personalize functions for various still photography and videography shooting styles. This lens performs exceptionally well in macro, landscape, and portrait photography, providing distinct photographic expressions across different genres.
