Tampa Bay Smokers Mesh Trucker Ballcap

WOOL MESH TRUCKER HAT HONORING THE TAMPA SMOKERS History: Taking their name from the cigar-rolling industry in the Tampa area, the ‘51 Smokers dominated the Class-B Florida International League, winning the league pennant with a record of 90-50. Puerto Rican Carlos Bernier scored 124 runs over the season to lead the league, while pitcher Dale Matthewson posted an impressive 18-5 record. This isn't like the trucker hats you'll find anywhere else. Made from genuine wool broadcloth on the front and the brim, a vintage-style mesh on the back, and Tampa Smokers script logo on the front, this trucker-style ballcap pulls inspiration from the hyper-wearable practice caps of the '70s and '80s.
