Tama HC72S TAMA Spartan Straight Cymbal Stand

The heavy weight of the stand pressing on your shoulder as you carry your gear. The frustration when adjustments don't go the way you want. The subtle fatigue that sets in before you've even played a single note. These are minor discomforts that almost every drummer experiences, but often go unspoken and unrecognized. Yet over time, they quietly take away a drummer's focus and ability to express themselves, ultimately hindering the quality of their performance. TAMA created the Spartan series with the goal of eliminating these silent obstacles, so drummers can fully unlock their creative potential. In developing Spartan stands, our pursuit extended far beyond simply reducing weight. Equipped with innovative features such as the Anti-Walk Rubber Feet to prevent movement during a performance, and the Duo-Lock Boom Tilter that allows for simultaneous adjustment of the boom angle and length, Spartan stands are designed to offer not only lightness, but also a fast, intuitive setup with rock-solid stability. To enhance playability, we combined TAMA's specific mechanical innovations into a design that achieves an ideal weight—light enough to reduce physical strain, yet strong enough to meet professional demands. The result is a perfect balance of form and function: a stand that feels just right for every drummer. Spartan's true potential cannot be fully captured in a basic list of specs—it must be experienced. Those who simply touch a Spartan will immediately recognize its undeniable originality. Spartan stands respond to drummers' needs and remain reliable in demanding environments, allowing drummers to focus entirely on the music. What do drummers truly seek in a stand? By listening to the unspoken voices in the hearts of drummers everywhere, Spartan is TAMA's answer—and a new standard for the future of drumming.
