Tallow Balm - Whipped 4oz

Roots and Leaves Whipped Tallow Balm is a lightweight, two-ingredient natural skin moisturizer made with 100% organic grass-fed beef tallow and organic cold-pressed hemp seed oil — designed to deeply hydrate and nourish dry, sensitive, eczema-prone, or rosacea-affected skin with zero synthetic ingredients, parabens, or fragrance. **Please note that May-September we ship this product with ice packs, please bring the package inside as soon as it arrives or it may melt. If it sits in a hot mailbox or on a porch for too long the ice pack will melt and so will the product, which we are not responsible for.** Are you aware that “Tallow is protective, soothing, and restorative for your skin? Animal fats have played a key role in salves, ointments, poultices, and eventually, skincare for peoples around the world, all throughout history, including Babylonians, Egyptians, Australian Aborigines, Inuit, the Himba and Hamer tribes, and Native Americans.”? Organic grass-fed beef tallow is a perfect, quality, non-toxic and moisturizing product for your skin. Yes, you read that correctly ... a moisturizer made from beef tallow! Before you let the ick-factor distract you, just roll with me for a minute: Organic, grass-fed beef tallow is one of the most nutrient-dense, effective, and versatile skincare options on the planet. We've known this, intuitively, as a species for at least 20,000 years. Research shows that beef tallow is absolutely packed with all the nutrients your skin needs to be astonishingly healthy, including vitamin E, CLA, omega-3s, vitamin A, vitamin B12, vitamins D and K, stearic and oleic acids. People have used it with great results to moisturize their hair and skin, soothe chapped lips, heal cracked knuckles, smooth scratchy feet, ease diaper rash, calm eczema and rosacea, and even help blisters and cuts heal. Remember, that we absorb toxins through our skin and phthalates/scents in commercial moisturizers are endocrine disruptors and they affect the levels of GABA, our calming neurotransmitter. This increases anxiety and creates hormone imbalance. This is a huge reason to be using safe and clean products on our skin! Grass-fed beef tallow is one of the very best things you could possibly be putting on your skin. It's nearly bio-identical to human cells - meaning that it's incredibly similar to your cells, right down to a molecular level - and it's uniquely compatible with the biology of your skin, containing the saturated fats it needs to maintain its structure over time. This version is completely unscented, if you want to add essential oils, you totally can. Since I have many customers that are sensitive to smells I have left this all natural. Adding hemp seed oil is what really makes our product unique and steps it up several healing notches. ONLY TWO INGREDIENTS: 100% Organic Grassfed Tallow Organic, Cold Pressed Hemp Seed Oil (less than 10% and this helps to "whip" the tallow balm) DIRECTIONS This is so clean and safe, you simply apply as often as needed. Keep in a cool dry place as this product will melt. As always, made with organic materials. We never include parabens, fragrance, Triglycerides or other synthetic materials. This tallow balm should last at least one year, keep in the refrigerator if you need it to last longer.
