Hasami’s signature bowl has a smooth, matte finish, giving it a natural, earthen—and yet—modern look. Both its beauty and its make were thoughtfully designed to last for generations. It may keep your coffee hot for just as long. It’s the perfect way to start your morning. Colors: Gloss Grey, and Natural Materials: Porcelain and Clay Blend Care: Dishwasher and Microwave Safe 7 3/8" x 2 7/8" Hasami Porcelain is designed by Takuhiro Shinomoto in Venice, CA, and made in Hasami, Japan, from a combination of Hasami clay and unglazed porcelain, fired at high temperatures for a lengthy period of time to achieve their signature textured finish. Due to its organic material and distinct environmental influences at the time of firing, each product actually develops its own character and patina over time. Designs are stain-resistant, microwave and dishwasher safe, and easy to stack, following the same principles of modularity as traditional Japanese tiered boxes.
