Talala

Little ones will, without a doubt, love this story about Talala, the curious leopard cub who lived with lions. When Talala found herself the sole survivor of her pack in Gir National Park in India, she started her quest to find a new family. She tried owls, antelope, and alligators, yet none were a good fit, for various reasons (that you have to read to find out). It wasn’t long before she discovered a lion family. In this over-the-top cute series of kids’ books by Vita Murrow (with illustrations in this particular book from Alexandra Finkeldey that’ll make you want to hug the page), the stories are based on real-life animal tales. In fact, there are real photos and factual information in the back of each book. (I mean, isn’t that the best part when watching a movie based on a true story – reading the true facts before the credits start rolling?) Ages 5-8; hardcover; 32 pages.
