Tako Low Table

The Tako low table embodies the multifunctional versatility of contemporary furnishings in a simple and welcoming piece that helps make the home a space that can be easily reconfigured to suit the needs of the moment. Designed in the 1970s by Cini Boeri, Tako “is not a piece of furniture, but a surface to be used”, reflecting the idea of flexible, easily reconfigurable design that enhances the way we live in our spaces. Four sturdy chrome tubes support the top, which is generously sized to accommodate the small domestic rituals dear to the designer — from a resting place for everyday objects to an extension of the sofa for relaxing one's feet. The low height, inspired by oriental conviviality, encourages conversation and social interaction.
