KMA Tailgate Pad, 5-bike capacity

ABOUT THE PAD The KMA Truck Tailgate Bike Pad is made with the highest premium quality materials to protect your pickup truck and truck tailgate. This tailgate pad features heavy-duty PVC for the outer layer. This material will prevent damage from weather and scratches from bikes or tools. The inner material which comes into contact with your truck is made of a plush felt lining to protect your truck’s paint job. With straps for up to 6 bikes, you’ll be able to roll with the whole crew while keeping your bikes safe and secure. This is the only bike tailgate pad that secures your bike in two places - on the frame AND the fork. This keeps your bike more secure and prevents it from tipping from side to side. The KMA Truck Tailgate Bike Pad features a large window flap (cover) that is positioned over where your tailgate handle and backup camera are located. If you need to use your backup camera, just leave the flap up, or quickly flip it up whenever you need to access the handle. The KMA Truck Tailgate Bike Pad is the most durable protective tailgate pad you can buy. It is over 1” thick with high density foam, a heavy-duty outer cover, and an ultra-soft plush felt underside. This is a pad that will protect both the truck’s tailgate paint and your bike. This pad will last for several years and bike seasons to come. This tailgate cover will fit most and mid-size to full-size trucks and can carry up to five bikes. Installing the tailgate pad is very easy and quick. Just throw the tailgate pad onto your tailgate and secure it with the three connected straps. Installing the bikes onto the tailgate pad is super easy as well and takes just a few seconds. Simply, place the bike into your truck bed with the back wheel in the bed and the front wheel hanging over the tailgate. Secure the frame with the upper strap support and secure the fork with the lower strap support. SPEC HIGHLIGHTS Padded protection for both the bike(s) and the truck Sturdy straps secure both the pad and bike(s) Frame and fork anchors prevent bikes from sliding into one another ABOUT THE  MANUFACTURER Whether it is bags, hydration packs, storage cases, or coolers, KMA makes practical, high-quality gear to bring with you on any outdoor adventure. BEHIND THE NAME: KMA is an abbreviation of the Hawaiian word "kuma." In ancient Hawaiian tradition, the kuma is a red fish that holds special significance. Hawaiians would catch the fish, and after making a prayer, they would place it as an offering in the trunk of a tree. This ritual was an important step in giving thanks to each tree that would be used to create an iconic tool, a tool and a sport that defined the Hawaiian way of life: a surfboard.   FULL SPECS  Protect your bike frame as well as your truck  The Most Robust on the Market: Superior Frame Ties with Velcro Protector, Additional Fork Ties Waterproof Exterior Canvas, Plush Interior, Extra Protective High Density Foam 26mm Easy Installation: Place it and Adjust it to the truck with the Straps Included Assemble and disassemble the bikes in seconds MATERIALS Exterior: PVC with polyester lining Interior: Polyester plush  WEIGHT 5-bike: 2.85 kg MEASURES 5-bike: 53.2"/135cm
