The Tadpoles Nebula (IC 410) lies about 12,000 light years away in the northern constellation of Auriga. Stellar winds and radiation from the embedded star cluster NGC 1893 sculpt away at the cloud of glowing gas surrounding it, shaping the cosmic tadpoles that you see here, each spanning about 10 light years long. Filters were used to capture Sulphur, Hydrogen, and Oxygen wavelengths, where the monochromatic images were then combined into a color image.
