2026 PRE-ORDER Table & Garden Variety Pack

The best of both worlds, this pack contains three large seed quality German White bulbs and three culinary grade Chesnok Red bulbs. ‘German White’ is a hardneck Porcelain garlic that is extremely pungent when eaten raw but mellows when cooked. It is a great variety for dishes that call for strong garlic flavor. The wrappers have a touch of purple to them while the bulbs are a nice cream color, with each bulb having about 4-7 large cloves that peel easily. ‘German White’ is easy to grow and great for beginners. Like all garlic, this variety does best in full sun with well-drained soil that has been prepared with ample amounts of compost. It is a high-producing garlic and will last for 4-6 months when stored in a cool, dry location. ‘Chesnok Red’ is a highly productive purple stripe hardneck variety and is delicious when roasted.  It is medium in stem height, but has big underground bulbs. All garlic sold by Big Elk Garlic Farm is a perishable food item that is naturally dried using only sunlight and air. It needs to be stored properly until use in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. **PLEASE NOTE: All orders placed for our seed garlic (for planting) as well as our culinary garlic (for cooking and processing) will begin shipping the first week of September.** USPS economy shipping rate for seed packs is $15 each.  Orders over $200.00 ship for free.
