Key components include a stainless steel grasping ring, a Buna-N (nitrile) O-ring for reliable sealing, and a black polypropylene release ring for easy disconnection. Threaded fittings are equipped with nickel-plated brass threads, featuring a PTFE sealant on male threads (except for BSPP and metric straight threads, which utilize a Buna-N O-ring). Please note, these fittings are not rated for sterilization. They offer a vacuum rating of 28" Hg @ 70° F and comply with ISO standards.
