On my first trip to Colorado, my husband drove us straight up to Pike's Peak, which tops out at over 14K ft. Being raised a mountain girl, I'm ashamed to say that when we reached the switchback turns and those "big vistas," I whimpered. Just a little, ok, a lot... I did become fascinated with that part of the drive and took the map, traced it in wire and can now be reminded of that harrowing drive every time I wear these! Just FYI, there are no guard rails on those switchback turns... These switchback turns are sterling silver and hang about 2" including the 1/2" diameter French hoops.
