Eezi-Awn Swift Awning

Free-Standing Side Coverage at Just 12 kg The Eezi-Awn Swift is the lightest awning in the Eezi-Awn range at just 12 kg — roughly half the weight of the Bat 270 or Manta. It's a free-standing side awning built from anodised aluminium extruded rafter arms that are rigid enough to hold the canopy without needing legs deployed in calm conditions. For windier environments, fold-out height-adjustable legs swing out from the rafter arms to add stability. The 260 gsm ripstop canvas packs into a black PVC bag and the whole unit deploys solo in under a minute. If weight is a priority and 180-degree side coverage is sufficient, the Swift is the most capable lightweight option in the lineup. A: In calm to light wind conditions, yes — the extruded aluminium rafter arms are rigid enough to hold the canopy without the legs deployed. In moderate to strong wind, swinging out the adjustable legs is recommended. Q: How does the Swift compare to the Bat 270? A: The Swift covers 180 degrees along one side of the vehicle and weighs 12 kg. The Bat 270 wraps 270 degrees around the rear and side and weighs 21 kg. Choose the Swift for weight savings; choose the Bat 270 for maximum coverage.
