Product Details: Brand: Swanstrom Shipping Weight: 6.097 lbs (2.766 kg) Country of Origin: United States Superior Construction & Precision Cutting: The top and bottom plates, along with all punches, are made from S7 shock-resistant tool steel, hardened to 55 HRC for exceptional durability. The die plate securely clamps metal, preventing distortion while keeping hands safely away. Easy-to-use opening and closing mechanism allows for quick material adjustments. Cutting Capabilities: Cuts soft materials up to 16 gauge (1.29 mm) when using a mallet. Cuts up to 10 gauge (2.59 mm) when used with a hydraulic press. For optimal performance, use a 1/16" thick, 95-durometer urethane pad (not included) to reduce noise, support cutters, protect surfaces, and ensure crisp cuts. Features & Maintenance: IMPORTANT: Always place a shim of equal thickness opposite the material being cut to keep plates balanced and ensure a perpendicular cut.
