Swanstrom® Large Oval-Shape Cutter – Precision & Durability Achieve clean, consistent cuts with the Swanstrom® large oval-shape cutter, engineered for superior performance and effortless shape release. Manufactured in the USA, this high-quality tool delivers decades of reliable service. Premium Construction for Precision Cutting The top and bottom plates, along with all punches, are crafted from S7 shock-resistant tool steel, hardened to 55 HRC for long-lasting durability. Precision-ground punches ensure smooth edges with minimal cleanup. Tight tolerances between the punches and the spring-loaded die plate guarantee precise cuts while extending the cutter’s service life. The die plate securely clamps metal, preventing distortion and keeping hands safely away. Easy-to-use opening and closing mechanism allows for quick material adjustments. Cutting Capabilities Cuts soft materials up to 16 gauge (1.29 mm) when used with a mallet. Cuts up to 10 gauge (2.59 mm) when used with a hydraulic press. For best results, place a 1/16" thick, 95-durometer urethane pad (not included) under the cutter to reduce noise, support the tool, protect surfaces, and ensure clean cuts.
