Swaddling Blanket Pattern

Easy Swaddling Blanket Pattern & Tutorial Swaddling babies helps them to sleep and feel secure because they are familiar with the tight, comfortable and warm environment. It also helps to keep those twitching arms still that cause the baby to wake up. Parents agree that swaddling blankets that use velcro are much easier to get a good fit on baby rather then receiving blankets. They also help baby learn to self-soothe. This swaddling blanket pattern is designed for babies from newborn up to 12 months. If you are unsure if it will fit your baby, simply measure your baby from shoulder to foot. If the measurement is less than 23.75" in length, the pattern will fit your baby. If your baby is longer, simply follow the diagram on the swaddling blanket pattern to lengthen it to suit your needs.  This Swaddling Blanket pattern has adjustable velcro tabs and an optional zipper for easy diaper changes. The velcro tabs have plenty of adjustability to get a tight fit for all babies. It also has contoured shoulders for a perfect fit every time. Swaddling Blankets can be incredibly expensive and your baby is in them for a short period of time. You can recycle some old fabric to make it a budget friendly one too! Give yourself and your baby a gift and make him/her a swaddling blanket.  Optional Zipper Fabric Requirements: Woven Cotton Fabric 43-44” wide.
