SV10K6D1

Deep bass. Show-ready looks. The K6 sub in an enclosure built to match it. The Rockville SV10K6D1 is a single 10" vented subwoofer enclosure pre-loaded with the Rockville W10K6D2 V2 K6 subwoofer, pre-wired to a 1-ohm final impedance. The cabinet is tuned to 30 Hz for deep, controlled bass, and the thick plexiglass front panel with selectable white or blue LED lighting makes it as much a visual statement as a performance upgrade. The SV10K6D1 enclosure was engineered specifically around the W10K6D2 V2's Thiele-Small parameters. The vented cabinet is tuned to 30 Hz, which aligns with the K6's low-frequency extension and excursion characteristics. This means the sub operates in its optimal range, producing deeper, tighter bass with less distortion than it would in an off-the-shelf box not matched to its specs. 1-Ohm Pre-Wiring — What It Means for Your Amplifier The W10K6D2 V2 is a dual 2-ohm subwoofer. The enclosure comes pre-wired with the voice coils connected in parallel, resulting in a 1-ohm final impedance. Most modern mono subwoofer amplifiers are rated for 1-ohm operation and produce their maximum rated power at that load. This means you get the full 500W RMS from the sub without any additional wiring work — just connect your amp's speaker output to the enclosure's push terminals and you're done. Plexiglass Panel + LED Lighting — Show Car Aesthetics The thick plexiglass front panel is not decorative trim — it's a structural component that also serves as a viewing window into the enclosure. The LED lighting is mounted behind the plexiglass and illuminates the interior, highlighting the subwoofer and the enclosure's construction. White LEDs give a clean, modern look; blue LEDs suit builds with blue accent lighting. The LED color is selectable via a switch, so you can change it to match your mood or your vehicle's interior without any rewiring. Enclosure Construction — Why It Matters for Sound Quality The cabinet is built from 3/4" MDF throughout, with a thicker 1" MDF baffle at the subwoofer mounting point. MDF is the industry standard for subwoofer enclosures because of its density and acoustic damping properties — it doesn't resonate or flex the way particle board or thin plywood does. The bonded, stapled, and internally braced construction further reduces panel flex, which is a primary cause of distortion and bass coloration at high output levels. The result is a cabinet that stays rigid and acoustically inert even when the sub is pushing hard. K6 Subwoofer — Driver Specs That Matter The W10K6D2 V2's 2.5" voice coil is wound on an aluminum former with 100% USA-made OFC (oxygen-free copper) wire. OFC wire has lower resistance and better conductivity than standard copper-clad aluminum wire, which translates to more efficient power transfer and less heat buildup at the voice coil. The double-stacked 100 oz magnet provides a high BL (force factor) value, which controls the cone's movement precisely and allows the sub to handle transients cleanly. The vented T-yoke allows air to circulate around the voice coil, dissipating heat during extended high-power sessions and extending the sub's operational life.
