All started in 2021 with the Patos project for Sondre Lerche through our Norwegian importer and friend Jørgen Ljøstadt, creating a price-quality white wine, more traditionally produced and based on mainly Cattaratto which I very much like, especially from my favorite winemaking areas for white wines in Sicily, Alcamo. The goal is to produce a lighter style wine with character and sapidity. 40% Catarratto Extra Lucido, 30% Carricante, 30% Grecanico d’Orato Citrus peel, white orchard fruits, honey, wildflowers, and a distinct herbal or saline edge. Vibrant, fresh acidity with a light phenolic grip, a touch of salinity, and a clean, mineral-driven finish
