Sustaining the Garden, Acrylic on canvas, 40 x 40 inches

Sustaining the Garden is an original abstract botanical acrylic painting on canvas, 40 x 40 inches, by contemporary artist Juanita Bellavance. Sustaining the Garden evokes the quiet abundance of light filtering through foliage — warm ivory, muted sage, and pale blush pink layered into a composition that feels both lush and restrained. Botanical suggestions of stems, petals, and organic curves emerge and dissolve across the surface, creating a sense of gentle, sustained growth. The palette is warm yet soft, inviting and unhurried. This work brings a refined botanical warmth to contemporary interiors, functioning as a quiet celebration of the natural world rendered in an abstract, painterly language.
