Superior Ceramic Tile Nippers

Superior Ceramic Tile Nippers Superior tile nippers are manufactured from the best carbide tungsten steel in the U.S.A. Superior tile nippers are not recommended for use on porcelain tile Features Made for lasting durability, they are the finest quality obtainable Length 8 inch (20.32 cm) Tile nippers are used to make circular cuts in ceramic tile Use for straight or angled cuts, although you will find it much easier to use a tile cutter or wet saw to make these types of cuts Take small "nips" or "bites" out of it using the tile nippers. Take your time and keep the "bites" small. Otherwise, you risk breaking the tile and having to start all over again Once the tile is completely cut, a piece of 60-grit sandpaper or a special rubbing stone used by ceramic tile contractors will smooth the finished edge. Especially when the cut will be exposed (e.g., around shower drains) as the edge of the cut tile will be very sharp Handle stop to protect tips Center spring returns jaws to the open position #80 Superior Carbide Nipper ST020 - 5/8" Offset Jaws 5/8" biting surface area 3/16" opening BoOpeninging edges straight Cuts ceramic tile #85C Superior Carbide Nipper ST022 - 5/8" Centered Jaws 5/8" biting surface area 3/16" opening OnOpeningonvex, one jaw straight for easy bite action #25 Superior Carbide Nipper for Thin Tile ST025 - 1/8" Opening, 5/8" Offset Jaws 5/8" biting surface area 1/8" opening for thin tiles Both cutting edges are straight Cuts wall (thin) tile #40 Superior Carbide Nipper ST021 1/2" Offset Jaws (Both Edges Straight) 1/2" biting surface area Both cutting edges are straight 3/16" Opening reOpening gap when jaws are closed
