Superhero

‘Superhero’ is a mid-century modern styled high-quality print, of Johnny and June Atomic, a retro couple walking in the rain, by the artist Scooter. All prints are professionally printed, packaged, and shipped. Choose from multiple sizes and mediums. Every guy wants to be a superhero for his girl! This piece was inspired by that desire and based on a recent evening visiting art galleries. My wife and I, and our close friends Scott and Jenn, love visiting art galleries downtown on the first Friday night of each month to support local artists. It’s called “First Friday”. One First Friday after we had an amazing Italian dinner and we’re making our way to the first gallery it started raining pretty hard. It was supposed to be clear skies that night, so we had one umbrella for the four of us. As soon as it started raining Scott and I opened up the umbrella and gave it to the girls to use. They walked ahead of us staying dry and we trailed behind them getting wet. I remember walking behind them and thinking how good it felt to take care of our ladies. This piece is inspired by my belief that there is something in every man’s heart that desires to love, honor and protect his girl and let her know he will do whatever it takes to keep her safe!
