Super Floss by Larva Lace is an extremely popular material is used for wrapping bodies or for rubber legs on many of today's most popular nymphs and dry flies. Super Floss is super stretchy, wiggly and strong. It also lasts and lasts, and doesn't get brittle and fall apart like regular rubber legs can do over time. The Pat's Rubber Leg stonefly pattern is a great example of Super Floss in use. We also like using Super Floss for wrapping chironomid pupa bodies for a tough, somewhat shiny, and slightly transparent body. For smaller sized flies, see Micro Flex, which is the same as Super Floss but in a thinner size. It is perfect for legs on smaller nymphs and dry flies.
